The eyes are glass cabochons and they´re hand painted with acrylic paint. It´s around 6 cm (2" 3/8), and it is stuck to a wooden base (the model of the wood base may differ from the one in the picture) which is around 1 cm (0" 3/8) thick. Take into account that polymer clay items are considered fragile, so you should take care of them so they will last forever! Since the item is handmade, it could be slightly different from the pictures.
